大亞灣核電基地新建南區籃球場工程位于南生活區原消防訓練站,工程場地將占用南面部分山林坡地,場地的平整需朝南面的土坡進行開挖。根據設計圖紙的場地面積要求,按設計建筑場地面積平整場地,需往南面土坡開挖4.1m左右。且經開挖后,南面將形成一面1~4米高差的裸露土坡(如下圖示),長達66米;東面也將形成一段長約30米,高差約2.5米的坡塹。考慮東面、南面邊坡的長期穩定,將在東、南兩面邊坡上各加砌一排毛石重力式擋土墻護坡。東面擋土墻的高度約2.5m,長約30m;南面擋土墻高度走勢沿原土坡走勢,即高度在1~4米之間,長達66m(如下圖示)。現場土質為砂石混合土,根據土質對南面土坡取1:0.35坡度進行放坡,南面土坡需開挖
